A strategic communicator and problem solver, Malizy Scruggs, APR is the Associate Deputy Chief of Communications at Dallas College. She studied social work at Texas State University before attending Minneapolis College. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Texas at Arlington. A former Vice President of PRSA Dallas, she has volunteered with United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and the Junior League of Arlington. Malizy loves ice cream and chocolate and she loves to travel. She has enjoyed stints as a communications and PR manager at Old Castyle Building Envelope; Director of PR at the Start Conspiracy; adjunct instructor at UTA ; Executive Communications Consultant at Christian Madison; and Communications Lead Advisor at OCG PR.
