
Tami Gamble is a proud Howard University alumna, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Education. A National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) certified building trades instructor and subject matter expert, this seasoned carpenter and active Foreman/Instructor is dedicated to honing her craft and sharing her knowledge with the next generation. Tami is the founder of the Girly Shop Teacher Foundation, with the mission of putting tools into the hands of young women interested in the trades. Through dynamic partnerships with organizations like the Girl Scouts of America, Booker T. Washington School for the Performing and Visual Arts, RockT Summit, The Ross Perot Museum, and EarthX, Urban Arts has created exciting workshops that introduce youth to the world of construction.
