Superb Woman: Shonn Evans Brown

Shonn Evans Brown is a distinguished attorney, corporate leader, and advocate for equity in Dallas, Texas. After earning both her bachelor’s and law degrees from Southern Methodist University, she became a litigation partner at Locke Lord before transitioning into corporate law. She currently serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Heidelberg Materials North America. Brown is known for championing women and communities of color. She co-founded The Village Giving Circle and launched “We Lead” to support mid-career women attorneys. A former chair of the Texas Women’s Foundation, she has received numerous honors, including SMU’s Distinguished Alumna Award and the Dallas Business Journal’s Women in Business Award. Brown is a dedicated mother of three and a marathon runner.
