
Pastor R. Janae Pitts-Murdock, is a native of Detroit, Michigan, and was ordained into the gospel ministry at New Bethel Baptist Church. A graduate of the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies, Carnegie Mellon University with a Master of Science degree in Public Policy & Management, United Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree, and University of Memphis with a Master of Business Administration the pastor is an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and now serves as the International Chaplain. She is a member of numerous civic and service organizations including the National Council of Negro Women, Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and board member of the Disciples of Christ Historical Society.
