Normani Kordei Hamilton, known professionally as Normani, was born in Atlanta and raised in New Orleans and Houston. She rose to fame as a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony but began establishing herself as a solo artist after the group disbanded. Her breakout single “Motivation” in 2019 showcased her powerful vocals, charisma, and incredible dance talent. Normani’s collaborations with artists have received critical acclaim and millions of streams. Normani is a champion for mental health awareness and representation in the industry. She often speaks about the importance of self-worth, confidence, and navigating the pressures of fame as a young Black woman.
