Nia Symone is an on-air personality, entrepreneur, and trailblazer in media, known for her role as the host of HBCU GO. She earned an Associates degree in Communications at Miami Dade College, a BA in Mass Communication from UAPB and she was a Division I basketball player at Alabama State University, where she majored in Broadcast Journalism. Nia transitioned from the court to become a prominent figure in the digital media landscape. From working with major brands like Nike, Honda, Hibbett Sports, SNKRS, and more, showcasing her diverse talents beyond sports. She’s a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and NABJ, Nia is also the owner/CEO of Purpose To Be Heard™, a storytelling platform dedicated to helping athletes discover their purpose beyond the game.
