Melodee Armstrong is an attorney and Dallas Municipal Court Judge & Magistrate.
Since 2003, she has presided over 1000s of trials, hearings, arraignments & pleas, including family violence cases, with opportunities for dismissal, community service, reduced fines, essays, counseling, and classes. Judge Melo has also practiced law for almost 30 years. In 2011, Judge Melo founded Share the Vision, her annual birthday benefit focused on guests donating new or gently used eyeglasses for global distribution to improve vision. She also volunteers with the Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program, the African American Museum, and other organizations, and speaks at various events to youth and adults: Dartmouth College, B.A., and University of Houston Law Center, J.D.
