Dr. Reo Pruiett hails from Tennessee, Reo holds a Bachelor of Science from Lane College and a doctorate in curriculum, instruction, and leadership from Union University. She is Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer at Communities Foundation of Texas. A wife, mother and grandmother, Dr. Reo served as the Director of Secondary Education for Shelby County Schools in Tennessee. In an interview last year, she said she has “worked in the DEI space my entire life—as an educator, school leader, district administrator, through my church, and as a community engagement volunteer.” A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Dr. Reo was the Dallas Business Journal’s 2020 Minority Business Leader Award Honoree.
