Dr. Asheli S. Atkins is a sociologist, educator, and business consultant with over 15 years of experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Texas A&M, an MBA from Texas Woman’s University, and a BA in Communication from Prairie View A&M. Her career spans roles as Executive Director of Feed the Soul Foundation, Assistant Professor of Sociology at Prairie View A&M, and a 2023 cohort member of the Goldman Sachs & Urban Institute’s One Million Black Women Research program. She also served as an Independent Consultant for the Greater Houston Black Chamber of Commerce before becoming President & CEO in 2025. Driven by a commitment to equity, Dr. Atkins uses her research and leadership to uplift Black entrepreneurs, advocating for inclusive strategies that support sustainable growth and expand access to essential resources.
