Deralyn Berry is a retired educator and member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas. She’s been involved with Seniors Adult Ministry- St John Church, Girl Scouts, Women of Courage-Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Widows Ministry, Bible Study Fellowship Bible Study, Church Children’s Ministry, Harmony Ministries for Haiti, and Prison Ministry. A graduate of Prairie View A&M University where she received a Bachelors Begree in Biology, and SMU, where she received a Masters Degree in Biology. She was a Spring 1976 initiate into the Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. The Environmental Garden was established at Kimball High School in her honor. Her hobbies include gardening, traveling, watching old movies and television shows, bowling, spending time with her grandkids, visiting with Seniors, and hanging out with her sisters.
