Christie D. Brown, Ph.D., LPC-S is a licensed professional counselor-supervisor, counselor educator, clinical executive, researcher, speaker, and consultant with more than a decade of experience in mental health. She earned degrees in Training and Development and Mental Health Counseling from East Texas A&M University and the University of North Texas at Dallas, and then earned her Doctor of Philosophy from the University of the Cumberlands. She is the owner of Gathering House, LLC and serves as Chief Clinical Officer of Valiant Behavioral Healthcare Services, providing clinical leadership for programs serving children, adults, and families. Her doctoral research explored how trusted community relationships can create space for meaningful mental health conversations.
