Bridget Nevels, ED attended Prairie View A&M University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree Mathematics and was initiated into the Eta Beta Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, inc and held several leadership positions. She received degrees from East Texas A&M University and The University of Texas at Dallas before going on to receive her Doctor of Education from the University of North Texas. She is a member of the Top Ladies of Distinction – Southern Dallas County, Duncanville Community Engagement Advisory Board – President (2024–2025), Dallas County Elections Commission, NAACP (Tri-Cities) – Youth Leadership Chair, Southwest Association of Black School Educators, PVAMU Alumni Association, and Girl Scouts Troop #8316. She is also Dallas County Precinct Chair #3203 and a member of the National Council of Negro Women.
