He loved to relax with a cold beer, spend quality time with his grandchildren, watch movies, and enjoy his favorite TV shows. Known for his warm spirit and easygoing nature, Leon was loved by many and cherished the moments shared with his large and loving family.

Leon is now reunited in heaven with his beloved mother, Leona Cotton Gee, his stepson, and his sister.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Latonya Birdow; his children, Lakenya Birdow, Lakeisha Birdow, and Leon Gee Jr.; his stepchildren, Lashay Sherman, Lynette Sherman, and Detra Bolden; and 18 cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers, Marwin Rupert Gee and Gene Raymond Gee Jr.; nieces Kilandia Robinson, Katrina Kendrick, Vache Gee, and Geneisha Gee; nephews JaQuon Gee, Michael Kendrick, and Gene Gee III; as well as a host of extended family members and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
