NANCY MARIE SMITH

Nancy Marie Smith

Nancy Marie Smith, born on February 23, 1952, in Dallas, Texas, passed away on October 3, 2024, in her beloved hometown. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, whose pride in her family, particularly her grandchildren, was evident to all who knew her.

Throughout her career, Nancy served as a Housekeeping Supervisor, a role in which she demonstrated her strong work ethic and attention to detail. She approached her responsibilities with the same dedication she applied to her passions and interests.

Nancy was known for her radiant personality; she was always happy and smiling, unafraid to express her thoughts openly. Her vibrant spirit brought joy to everyone around her. She loved to shop and was an avid fan of soap operas, often losing herself in their engaging narratives. Cooking was another of her cherished activities, where she delighted in preparing meals for her family and friends.

In her leisure time, Nancy enjoyed playing cards, a pastime that often brought together loved ones for laughter and camaraderie. Travel was another significant aspect of her life; she relished the experiences and adventures that came with exploring new places, particularly when accompanied by her family. Above all, Nancy truly loved having a good time, especially when surrounded by those she held dear.

Visitation will be held on October 10, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas, 75224. A Funeral Service will be conducted on October 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the same location, where family and friends will gather to honor Nancy’s life and legacy.

Nancy Marie Smith will be remembered not only for her warmth and vivacity but also for the love she bestowed upon her family and friends. Her legacy of joy, laughter, and love will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her.
