Lela Mae Kraut, a woman of immense love, care, kindness, and warmth, bid farewell to this world on June 24, 2024. Her life’s journey began on November 7, 1939, filled with moments of joy that she generously shared with all who knew her.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Lela were greeted by her welcoming spirit and an unwavering sense of compassion. She loved to be around her family and could be found utilizing her talent in the kitchen – a place where she poured her heart into creating dishes that brought people together and created lasting memories.

The memory of Lela Mae will be cherished by her surviving family members and friends who were touched by her loving nature. During this time of mourning, they will gather to honor and celebrate her life.

Visitation services for Lela Mae Kraut will be held on July 5, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas located at 4155 South R.L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas, TX. The funeral service will take place the following day, July 6, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at College Park Baptist Church on 6360 J J Lemmon Road in Dallas.
