Clyde Perry Smith, a beloved member of the Dallas community, passed away on March 28, 2024, He was born on January 4, 1947, in Lisbon, Louisiana. Known for his vibrant personality as “the life of the party,” Clyde held the prestigious position of President of the Male Chorus and had a passion for grilling delicious barbecues for his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation service scheduled to take place on April 12, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home and A Crematory in Dallas. A Celebration of Life event will follow the next day, April 13, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Ebenezer Memorial Missionary Baptist Church on S Buckner Blvd.

Clyde Perry Smith is survived by his loving family members who will forever cherish his memory. May he be remembered for his joyful spirit and unwavering love for those around him. Clyde will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
