Tyrese Maxey Foundation Hosts Second Annual Multi City-Wide Superhero Holiday Toy Drive!

DALLAS, Texas – Join the Tyrese Maxey Foundation this holiday season for its second annual multi city-wide Superhero Holiday Toy drive from Dec. 5 to Dec 15., throughout Dallas Fort Worth and Philadelphia to benefit the patients at Children’s Health Dallas, Youth Services Incorporated students, and Philadelphia Housing Authority.

As the holiday’s slowly approach us, the Tyrese Maxey Foundation is putting a bow on 2022 with its second annual multi-city Superhero Holiday Toy Drive for the month of December. Starting Dec. 5 local Dallas Fort Worth and Philadelphia citizens can donate a new and unused superhero toy at a designated toy box donation location. Toy box donation locations can be found in participating Garland ISD schools, local Chili’s restaurants in Dallas, and more.

All toys collected will be donated directly to the patients at Children’s Health Dallas, Youth Services Incorporated Philadelphia students, and Philadelphia Housing Authority on Dec. 16 in Philadelphia and Dec. 19 in Dallas.

Tyrese Maxey Foundation and the Maxey family will host Give Day toy drop-offs on Dec. 16 at 12 p.m., in Philadelphia at John F. Street Community Center located on 1100 Poplar St, Philadelphia, PA 19123. The foundation will follow up with another Give Day drop-off in Dallas on Dec. 19 at Children’s Health Hospital participating located at 1935 Medical District Drive, Dallas, TX 75207. Tyrese Maxey will not be present at the Children’s Health Dallas toy drop off but will be present at the Philadelphia’s toy drop-off.

More Than 7,500 Toys Donated to Area Youth by Tyrese Maxey Foundation

The Tyrese Maxey Foundation wrapped its month-long multi-city Toy Drive by dropping off toys at Children’s Health Dallas on Monday, Dec. 19. Over the course of the past month, the Tyrese Maxey Foundation has collected more than 7,500 plus toys.

All toys collected were donated this past weekend and at the start of this week to Children’s Health Dallas, Youth Services Incorporated, and the Philadelphia Housing Authority.

Here in Dallas, the Foundation arrived at Children’s Health Dallas with a caravan of cars full of toys. Foundation members, partners, and Children’s Health Child Life Specialists worked together to unload and transport all toys inside the hospital.

Those in attendance included, The Tyrese Maxey Foundation Board of Directors,  The Maxey Family, Chilis’ store representatives, the Max Levels Elite Basketball Team,  Tesla Dentistry, and Texas Roadshow. Although Tyrese Maxey could not be in attendance, he still dropped in over Facetime to give his gratitude to all those who made this toy drive possible, show his commitment to his hometown community, and say hello to all those in attendance.
