The Nancy Lieberman Charities’ 14th Annual Dream Ball filled The Factory in Dallas’ Deep Ellum on Sept. 20, 2025 with numerous reasons to celebrate. In addition to honoring ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith with the 2025 Lifetime Achievement Award and country singer Coffey Anderson with the 2025 Inspirational Award, attendees saluted Lieberman’s 10 scholarship recipients, all former high school athletes who received custom jackets designed by Carlton Dixon of Reveal Suites, custom rings and $10,000 to help with college costs.
The evening also featured a fireside chat with Stephen A. Smith and Dallas Cowboys’ owner, president and general manager, Jerry Jones, who introduced Smith as the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient. Inspirational Award Recipient Coffey Anderson performed, including his hit song “Mr. Red White and Blue.”
ESPN’s Jay Harris delivered his signature style with humor as he
served as event emcee. A variety of items were up for auction, both silent and live bidding, that delighted attendees as they enthusiastically gave to support Nancy Lieberman Charities.
From the red carpet arrival with photos being taken by Rockwall ISD media students serving as paparazzi to stellar service by valet and wait staff, Dream Ball is always a hot ticket.
Congratulations to all honorees celebrated under this year’s theme, “Champions of Hope.”
