LaMarcus Deonte Steward, a beloved chef and cherished member of the Dallas community, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, at his birthplace of Dallas, Texas. He was known for his culinary talents and the warmth he brought to each dish he created, impacting the lives of many with his passion for cooking.

Born on September 14, 1984, LaMarcus dedicated himself to mastering the culinary arts and became a prominent figure in the local food scene. His creations were not just meals; they were heartfelt expressions of love and creativity that brought joy to the tables of friends and family alike.

LaMarcus was a proud graduate of high school and continued to inspire those around him with his dedication and work ethic. His contributions to his community went beyond the kitchen, as he fostered connections among people through food and hospitality.

A viewing will be held on December 19, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. This will be followed by a funeral service on December 20, 2024, beginning at 11:00 AM, also at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas.

LaMarcus leaves behind a legacy that will be remembered through the hearts of those he touched and the delicious meals that will continue to be shared in his honor. His spirit will live on in the kitchens and homes of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
