Kamala Harris in Detroit Saturday took on a fiery tone in her comments against U.S. President Donald Trump, who defeated the former vice president in the most recent presidential election.

Harris, speaking at Detroit’s Huntington Place at a women’s luncheon during the Michigan Democratic Party endorsement convention, accused Trump of being “pulled into the war (in Iran) by Bibi Netanyahu.

She mocked the president during her remarks, saying he’s pretending to be a mob boss.

“He’s basically sitting back there saying, ‘Alright, you get Eastern Europe, you take Asia, I’m going to take the Western hemisphere,” Harris said, impersonating the president.

“We are dealing with the most corrupt, callous and incompetent presidential administration in the history of the United States,” Harris said. “Period.”

Harris spoke at the Democratic Party’s Women’s Luncheon organized by DNC Black Caucus Chair Virgie Rollins.

U.S. Sen. Cory Booker and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear also spoke ahead of the vice president.

“I am your five-minute ‘flip the stage’ speaker because I know when we have a former vice president that is in the hosue with us that she is the star of the show,” Beshear said.

Booker spent much of his comments rallying Democrats ahead of the November midterms, but also offered commentary on the party’s loss to Trump nearly two years ago.

Booker criticized Democrats who didn’t vote for Kamala Harris over her values. In Michigan, Arab and Muslim voters led a campaign against former President Joe Biden in the February primary election. The leaders of that movement, called “Uncommitted,” urged voters to vote against Trump once Biden dropped, but did not formally endorse Harris.

Many Arab and Muslim voters in Dearborn and Hamtramck who voted for Trump did so in protest of the Democratic Party’s support of the war in Gaza.

Though party chair Curtis Hertel asked party members to stop blaming Arab and Muslim voters at last year’s convention, the narrative that Michigan voters tanked Harris’ presidential campaign has remained part of national discourse since the election.

“There are too many people that said, ‘I don’t agree with her on everything…’ Well, you may disagree with her on 10% of your views, but you let someone get in office who you disagree with on everything,” Booker said.
