Kaylyn Walton, M.Ed is the deputy director of programs for College and Career Readiness, Educate Texas and delivers technical assistance to early college high schools through partners, vendors, coaches and staff to build capacity for school design, implementation and reform. Prior to joining Communities Foundation of Texas, Kaylyn spent more than a decade working in college access in Boston Public Schools and the Dallas Independent School District as a college adviser. She also worked as the assistant director of admissions for a private university in Boston. Kaylyn holds a bachelor’s in Middle Eastern studies and religion from Tufts University and a master’s in educational leadership and policy from Boston University. She volunteers with the SPCA of Texas.
