Jacquelyn Burns-Torrance received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southern Methodist University (SMU), Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education (SMU) and Master of Educational Research (Western Michigan University). She is a retired Principle Education Analyst – Research and Evaluation. A member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Jacquelyn is a National Council of Negro Women Life/Legacy member and also a member of Bible Study Fellowship International and Texas State Federation of Teachers. Jacquelyn just celebrated 50 years of service in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority. In her spare time, she likes reading, cursive/calligraphy writing, and “minding my own business.”
