Joe Lonnie Ransom, born on August 23, 1972, transcended into eternal rest on January 3, 2025. A resident of Dallas, Texas, Joe was known for his unwavering spirit and the positive impact he had on those around him. His warmth and kindness resonated deeply within his community, leaving a legacy of love and compassion that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Joe’s life journey was marked by vibrant experiences and meaningful relationships. He held a special place in the hearts of his family and numerous friends. The memories he created, grounded in laughter and love, are indeed a testament to the profound influence he had during his time among us.

Family and friends are invited to honor Joe’s life and legacy during the following services. A viewing will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224, on January 9, 2025. This opportunity for remembrance will take place from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM. Later that evening, a prayer service will be conducted at Bible Way Baptist Church, located at 2607 Exeter Avenue, Dallas, TX 75216, starting at 7:00 PM and concluding at 9:00 PM.

The commemoration of Joe’s life will culminate with a funeral service on January 10, 2025, at Bible Way Baptist Church, beginning at 12:00 PM. It is during these gatherings that all will come together to share stories, reflect, and celebrate a man who touched many lives with his kindness and love.
