Arthur Alexander O’Brian Williams, affectionately known as “Pooh Pooh,” left us on June 2, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy that touched the lives of many. Born on May 1, 1983, in Dallas, Texas, Arthur’s journey began with the loving embrace of his grandmother, Shirley Harper, after losing his mother at just eight months old. Though he faced challenges early in life, he was guided and nurtured by the strong spirit of his bonus mom, Aretha Foxx, who played an invaluable role in his upbringing.
Arthur’s vibrant passion for youth sports shone brightly throughout his life. As a dedicated coach for various Little League organizations across the DFW area, including The Hurricanes, The Gators, and The Bills, he was lovingly known as “Coach A.” His influence extended far beyond the baseball diamond, imparting invaluable lessons of mentorship and kindness, leaving indelible impressions on the hearts of countless players and their families.
Music was another profound passion for Arthur, particularly in the realm of Trap Music. This art form was not merely a pastime for him; it was an essential expression of his identity. He always found joy in creating, experimenting, and sharing his musical gifts with those around him. Arthur was proud to have graduated from A. Maceo Smith High School within the Dallas Independent Schools, where he laid a strong foundation for his dreams.
Arthur’s greatest treasure was his family. He held an unwavering devotion to his children—Kanion, Dayrien, Armirie, and Kamille—who were his pride and joy. The warmth and love he shared will forever resonate within them and in the lives of his grandchildren, Dayrien Jr. and Kensley.
As we honor Arthur’s memory, we cherish those he leaves behind: his father, Stevie Guinn; his beloved siblings, Chante Bratton, Britney Guinn, Kashundra Parson, Brandy Guinn, Stevvond Arrington, and Devontae Guinn; his bonus family, including Aretha Foxx and her partner Eddie Perkins, along with bonus brothers Quentin Foxx and Marvin Gibson Jr., bonus sister Ariel Gibson, and the mothers of his children, Dorothy Hall and Kawanna Brown. Arthur also leaves cherished memories of his dear friend, Celine Young, and his beloved uncle, Billy Fuller, along with a host of other family members and friends who loved him deeply.
Arthur had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel special and valued. As an extraordinary brother, father, son, and friend, his laughter, spirited energy, and unconditional love will be forever imprinted in our hearts.
We will always carry Arthur’s light with us, celebrating a life lived with passion, kindness, and endless love.
