A few hundred community members of all ages gathered on The Lawn at The Shops at RedBird on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025 for a community block party celebrating the 50th anniversary of what was once known as RedBird mall. The evening featured legendary Dallas band RC & The Gritz and fun and games with Urban Trivia Live. Various food trucks and vendors were on hand in addition to bounce houses for kids. The Shops at RedBird served as the backdrop for an evening of entertainment and fun.
