South Carolina State wide receiver Caden High is taking his talents to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), committing to play for Stanford.

High is the second HBCU wide receiver in as many days to commit to an ACC school, along with former Virginia Union receiver Reginald Vick Jr., who is transferring to Wake Forest.

The all-purpose receiver began his college career at Benedict in 2023, making an immediate impact as a freshman.

He led the team with 47 receptions for 781 yards (998 all-purpose yards) and nine touchdowns.

This included a SIAC championship performance in which he caught nine passes for 156 yards and a touchdown.

When Benedict head coach Chennis Berry was hired by South Carolina State, High followed suit, transferring to play for the Bulldogs.

High was the number one offensive weapon on a South Carolina State team that won the MEAC title and clinched a berth in the Celebration Bowl.

He led the Bulldogs with 62 receptions for 908 yards and seven touchdowns, along with 117 rushing yards on 13 attempts.
