The Hank Aaron Sports Academy HBCU Matchup Reminder

The Hank Aaron Sports Academy (“HASA”) hosts its second weekend of HBCU action this weekend with the Southern University Jaguars visiting Mississippi at Smith Wills Stadium to take on the Alcorn State University Braves. The series will begin this Friday, March 22nd with the first pitch at 6:00 p.m. followed by game 2 on Saturday starts at 3:00 p.m., and the final game on Sunday with a 1:00 p.m. start. This marks the second consecutive weekend of HBCU action sponsored by The Hank Aaron Sports Academy at Smith Wills Stadium where last week Bethune Cookman, Grambling State, Mississippi Valley State, and Alcorn State opened the HBCU Hank Aaron Series.

Tickets can be purchased at the gate for $10 per person, $7 for students (must present valid I.D.), and children 3 and under get in free.

Games will be played at the historic Smith-Wills Stadium, the former home of the N.Y. Mets and Houston Astros MiLB clubs and now the home of The Hank Aaron Sports Academy.

Game times set for:

Friday – March 22nd
Game 1 – 6:00 P.M. (first pitch)

Saturday – March 23rd
Game 2 – 3:00 P.M. (first pitch)

Sunday – March 24th
Game 1 – 1:00 P.M. 1:00 (first pitch)
